Tradicionalmente a primeira publicação especializada a divulgar a sua lista de melhores do ano, a revista norte-americana Decibel não fugiu à regra e soltou os seus discos preferidos de 2022.
A Decibel chegou às bancas em outubro de 2004 e desde então é publicada todos os meses. Com sede na Philadelphia, tem como foco nos gêneros mais extremos do metal.
